Marketing Agency Creates New Logo and Identity for Business Organization
HEH Associates, Inc. has been named the official design agency for the Wilton Chamber of Commerce. As its first project for the Chamber, HEH has redesigned the Chamber's logo and graphic identity. The May issue of the Chamber's quarterly newsletter launches the new logo.
According to Wilton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stephanie Barksdale, as the Chamber decided to expand its outreach to its constituents, it took an overall look at its marketing materials, including a review of its logo. The board wanted the logo to better reflect the Chamber's mission and diverse activities - that, although its primary focus is the business community, it also has a commitment to helping the community as a whole.
The new logo includes various symbols of Wilton life, including a business handshake, a tree, the town green gazebo and a clapboard building. It incorporates the Wilton Chamber of Commerce name and the new tag line "We bring business to you."
"We turned to HEH Associates because, in addition to the firm's exceptional marketing and design talents, they have a deep understanding of the business community, the town and the Chamber," said Barksdale. "HEH president Skip Heydt has served the Chamber on its board of directors and was named Chamber Business Person of the Year in 2001. The board of directors was pleased to have a highly qualified local firm to call upon for this important work."

In addition to his service to the Chamber of Commerce, Skip Heydt currently serves on the board of trustees of the Wilton Historical Society and is a member of The Wilton Bank Advisory Board. He and his firm have also supported the Wilton Family Y, the Wilton Emergency Ambulance Service, the Kiwanis Club and the Senior Center Computer Education Initiative. The Wilton Chamber of Commerce was established in 1989 as an affiliate of the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce.
